The work explores the theme, dear to Pier Paolo Pasolini, of the cultural uniqueness of the Roman sub-proletariat in the immediate post-war period. The solo exalts its impudence, vitality, cheerfulness, paradoxical innocence, sensuality and carefree courage.
Taking the poet-director’s work as their starting point, the artists have created a choreography that combines the language of the everyday body with the more abstract and symbolic language of contemporary dance, enriching it with the intense relationship with the audience, to whom the performer continually turns in a game of challenges, glances, smiles and winks..
